Evidence over theater
Findings rest on contracts, delivery data, reporting history, and documented practice. Where evidence is unavailable, the report says so rather than filling the gap with narrative.
About
The Creative Group is an independent auditor of marketing agencies, with a primary specialization in social media strategy, content, community, creators, paid social, and social measurement. We do not sell media, produce content or campaigns, or represent agencies. Our only product is an accurate view of what is happening.
Why we exist
Agency relationships represent some of the largest discretionary commitments a company makes, and they are frequently assessed with the least rigorous evidence. Performance is discussed in quarterly meetings, judged through relationships, and supported by reporting produced by the party being evaluated.
That structure is not unusual and it is not typically the result of bad intent. It is simply what happens when the people closest to the work are also the people measuring it. Over time, familiar tactics get repeated, methodology drifts, scope expands informally, and nobody holds the complete picture.
The Creative Group was formed to give marketing leaders that complete picture. We assemble the evidence, test it against a consistent framework, validate the facts with everyone involved, and hand leadership a decision that can withstand challenge from the agency, from finance, and from the board.
Principles
Findings rest on contracts, delivery data, reporting history, and documented practice. Where evidence is unavailable, the report says so rather than filling the gap with narrative.
Agency results are shaped by briefing quality, decision speed, category conditions, and internal structure. Conclusions are only drawn once those conditions are understood.
Practices that were effective five years ago are tested rather than assumed. The question is always whether the approach fits how audiences and markets behave now.
The output is a decision and a plan. Attribution of fault is only relevant where it changes what should happen next.
